Terms and Conditions

1. We do not make matters more complicated than necessary, that is why our conditions are short.
2. New German Art sells contemporary German art online. The works were commissioned by the artists and stored in a (art) storage. Here the works can be viewed by appointment.
3. We deliver to companies and individuals. Both must pay in advance.
4. The prices include VAT but exclude shipping costs. Delivery is within 14 days. After receiving the payment, New German Art will contact you about the time of delivery and costs. Then you can also discuss wishes about faster
5. Because art is vulnerable, we can not send it by regular parcel delivery. The work is professionally packaged and transported insured by a specialized delivery service. Depending on the distance, you must expect at least € 50 and a maximum of € 100 delivery costs in the Netherlands. Of course, you pay less when you purchase several works. Prices outside the Netherlands on request.
6. Not satisfied with a work? Returns can be done within 14 days of purchase, shipping and packaging for the return shipment are for the costs of the buyer.
For this you must send an email to info@newgermanart.nl. We send instructions about the return shipment. At (undamaged) receipt we will refund the amount paid for the artwork.
7. Check a work immediately upon purchase. Damage to a work of art must be immediately noted on the delivery receipt. We do not take back damaged work.
8. We are a recognized member of WebwinkelKeur. Stichting WebwinkelKeur sets requirements for affiliated webshops in the area of service provision, security and customer service. Because we meet the strict requirements of WebwinkelKeur, you can also have the expectations of us as a customer. If we do not comply with this, you can rely on them for mediation in the conflict.
9. We will do our best to meet the wishes of our customers. Do you have a complaint? Mail this first to info@newgermanart.nl. If this does not lead to a
solution, then it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur. Consumers in the EU can also file a complaint through the ODR platform of the European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/odr). This is only possible if your complaint is not yet being dealt with elsewhere.
10. Only Dutch law applies.
